Sales and Selling Update

Well it has been quite sometime since I last posted to this blog.

It was in August, 2010

The last blog posting I wrote about all of the hot weather we were having in August of 2010.

This year the really hot weather got here in late May which normally it does not get this hot until late July or early August.

Also in my area of southeast Texas up until last week we had absolutely no significant rain fall to amount to anything. Even last week the big rain was only one and a half inches at my house.

So stay cool and use lots of sun block this summer to avoid sunburn or something even worse.

Also I might mention that I wet down the outside of my house foundation two or three times a week to keep it from cracking. You might want to do the same to keep your house level and avoid an extremely high repair bill if it is dry in your part of the country.

I know it has been either feast or famine in most of the country. Either dry weather or floods, so I can be understanding if you are in a flood zone that flooded this spring.

The real reason I am writing this post today is to inform you that I have closed down the selling fool web site and have decided to rewrite and post most of the pages that were on the site to this blog.

The selling fool website was not designed to make money. It was more or less designed to help people like this blog does to earn more money through better selling practices.

So it dawned on me one day that the smart thing to do was do away with the web hosting charges and just move it over to this blog.

So you will see a lot more posting going on at Sales and Selling as I have to move all of the pages here and it will take a number of post to do that.

I am also creating a new blog that I will be hosting with Blogger as well.

This will also be a helping people site like this one, except I will be helping people to find jobs.

Hopefully I can train the would be job searcher to quickly and easily find gainful employment.

I have actually been retired, going on two years so I have a good bit of time to devote to this.

My wife though, keeps me busy with all of the daily chores here at home.

So that actually takes precedence over some of the personal things I enjoy doing.

I am not putting the name of the blog up until I make sure the one I picked is available and I also have to finish getting some more links to refer job seekers to.

The work is about ninety percent done, so by the time my next post is made in two or three days I should have a name and the link to the new blog posted here for your benefit.

I would like to help get America back to work and this is the only way I know how to be able to do my part in getting this done.

So the links on this blog to thesellingfool are dead if you have tried them but my e-mail link is still live and well.

I will edit this blog site and take off the “thesellingfool” website links as soon as I get around to it.

All in all the Sales and Selling blog is going to get much better and will have a good bit more content on it shortly.

The new blog should also be getting great traffic from the very start as I have worked out a great way to get people hired all over the country.

So it is so long for now. I will be back in two or three days with hopefully some great information.
