How to Sell More With Much Less Effort

“Selling more with less effort is the theme for today.”

How do you go about selling more with much less effort. Most sales-people would be happy to know how to just sell more, regardless of the amount of effort it takes.

The truth is selling is hard in today’s economy as people are just not sure of what the next day is going to bring.

Believe me I have sold in good time and bad but the some of the best sales records myself and my team ever produced were in times just as uncertain and difficult as they are today.

The number one thing I am going to recommend is for you to get into the exhibit sales business if you are selling a product or something to individual families or people.

Think about it, in most cases if you are going to be at a flea market, some sort of show or even have a display in front of the local grocery store, you will be in a place that has a buying atmosphere.

People who have money and jobs is what you are looking for. Even if unemployment in your area is over ten percent, think positive!

All a ten percent unemployment figure really means to you as an individual salesperson is that ninety percent of the people do have a paying job of some sort.

Now I feel bad for the people who are not working and need or want to be employed but as a salesperson you have to worry about your own family and how you are going to put dinner on the table tonight and clothes on your children’s back tomorrow morning.

If you are one of the unfortunate ones that is out of work then by all means go to my other blog at Career-Acquisitions.blogspot.com and start looking for a job ASAP.

I am confident there is someone in your local area that will hire you if you just take the first step.

But back to exhibit sales; for the fortunate salesperson who does have a job but just needs to continue making sales to earn a living and keep his or her job.

Going out and hunting down sales one at a time is both hard work and time consuming.

Exhibit sales on the other hand are neither really hard work or time consuming. In fact it can be a lot of fun for both the salesperson and the consumer.

You can easily talk to as many people face to face in one day as you would normally take over the course of an entire month. And that is not to mention it could take hundreds of dollars worth of gas to get around to see all of the prospects during that period of time as well.

If you do not know how to do exhibit sales I will make several upcoming post on the subject to make sure you can not only get it done but are successful at it as well.

Incidentally as long as the product you sell is not some kind of illegal item or something of bad taste, you should be able to sell it at an exhibit.

I would recommend that you go to a local flea market and go by and observe the booths and you will get a quick education on how to approach people and see what all they are selling.

Some of the things I have sold at flea markets were everything from encyclopedias to home security products. My crew and I even sold cemetery property for over seven years right at some of the local flea markets and set all kinds of national records doing so.

This can be done if you are willing to get it done. I will explain how to build inexpensive booths and counters as well as how to decorate on a shoe string in some of the upcoming Blogs.

But by all means start to think about it and do some research. This way you may well find that you to can sell more with much less effort.

Thank you,

Billy J Gibson
